Two award-winning independent studios are working together to create a new story-driven series. Set in the best-selling 'Borderlands Universe,' Telltale Games and Gearbox Software prepare to announce full details of their upcoming new episodic game series, Tales from the Borderlands. The result of this collaboration will be premiering for digital download later this year.
Speaking at the SXSW Gaming Expo, Texas, we will be able to learn how the two studios got together and be able to see glimpses of how the tales will be told. Also they will be available to answer questions from gamers about what might be in store in the new tale, set in the unpredictable, ruthless and greedy Pandora world. Gearbox President Randy Pitchford, Anthony Burch, Borderlands 2 Writer and Borderlands Franchise Director Matthew Armstrong will be on stage; along with Telltale President Kevin Bruner and designer Harrison Pink.
The panel is going to be moderated by Nerdist Network's 'The Indoor Kids,' Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon. This event will be on March 8 at 5:30 pm, and should be very interesting to see what the two gaming giants have got planned for this collaboration.
