The Madness Won't Stop Just Yet
Last Thursday, we reported on another public beta test weekend for Just Cause 2's multiplayer mod - JC2MP - hitting it off...well, the weekend that just ended. So why am I reporting on this now? Well, because the ambitious modders have now announced that the public madness won't end just yet! According to the tweet, the test will last "for a MAXIMUM of 7 days", which - if my math is right - means those of you who were late to the party, can still get in on the fun until Sunday 27th! So WHAT are you waiting for?!

One word.
BOOM!

Stuntman, Battlefield 3 had lazy co-op. It had lazy singleplayer. What has that got to do with Avalanche, the developers of Just Cause 2 and Renegade Ops?
Exactly, Bobfish, Just Cause 2 is basically made for co-op. Just think about it. If the entire campaign was playable in cooperative mode? You could hijack a car, run it into an enemy base and start blasting. Over your head comes a buddy flying an attack chopper for some superior air support, with another buddy hanging in a cable below it, lobbing grenades left and right. If Just Cause 2 was playable in co-op mode, it would go from being a pretty good/great game, to being one of the ten best games ever made (on my list). Easily.

Just Cause is a game they definitely lends itself to the co-op play model. I mean, all you do is blow stuff up. If it's fun with one person...

@Jenssen BF3 had coop. I rather it didn't. It all depends on implementation.

... In Just Cause 3, I mean.

They need to add COOP! That should be the first priority. Co-Op first. Then 3D graphics. Then gameplay. Then sounds. Then the rest. But Co-Op first.

Yeah I really hope Avalanche take this onboard for Just Cause 3.

They need this in the next game!
